Instructions for The Hub 

The Hub is your go-to place for member resources, learning, connecting, and more.  

Our Membership Community is open to all Textile Exchange members. It's a great place to ask questions about problems you may be facing related to the industry, network, or to see who else is a member. We're hoping it will facilitate continued relationship building, especially after events like our conference. You have your profile where we hope you will add information about yourself, so our other members can get to know you. 

We want to help you make the most of your membership with Textile Exchange, and this means bringing in any of your colleagues who would also benefit from our resources. Member Benefits are now accessible through our member portal and online community. We do not have a limit of users on The Hub for our members.  

Please let the Membership Team, membership@textileexchange.org, know if you have any questions about accessing our member portal.  

Connect ...to our shared educational resources through our Member Library. Just click on the publications that you are interested in and you will be able to download from the library entry directly.  



Collaborate ...by participating in community discussion threads. From the digest emails, you can respond to a question using the "Reply to Group" link. We encourage this if your response will help others and add to the long-term body of knowledge.  

Accelerate ...the agenda and use of preferred fibers and materials by participating in Round Tables, International Working Groups, and the Materials Benchmark.  

 

  • Log in for the first time using your email address and by creating a new password unique to you. You will need to enter your email address here and click the "Send Password Link" button. If you are on a private computer, please check the "Remember me" option at login to make it fast and easy to respond going forward.  

  • Update your profile by uploading a profile photo and bio so other members can get to know you.  

  • Use the Help/FAQ pages for information about how to use the site if you run into any issues. Please watch this video to learn your way around the portal. 
  • Update your email preferences. Click through to Profile > MyAccount >Community Notifications. You can choose between three frequency options for community email notifications. We recommend selecting “No Email” under Discussion Email and the Consolidated Daily Digest option, as this will send one email from all your communities with the day's activity.  
     
     
  • Email Digests directly from The Hub come from donotreply@connectedcommunity.org. Please add this email address to your contacts to ensure delivery.
